Life saving award

This group - including Sheriff’s Dispatch Supervisor Terry Devooght and Deputy Todd Wyatt - received the Phoenix Award for lifesaving for their actions saving the life of a man March 22, 2015 who was not breathing. The award, created by the Emergency Medical Community to recognize such life saving actions, was given to them by Islamorada Village Mayor Mike Forster and Fire Chief Terry Abel.
