A man with an outstanding warrant for sale of cocaine faces additional charges for possessing cocaine when he was arrested on the warrant.
Special Investigations detectives went to the Looe Key Tiki Bar Friday evening where they found 56 year old Vincente Blanco of Key West sitting at a table near the bar. They told him he was under arrest for the outstanding warrant. When the detectives asked if he was in possession of anything illegal, he admitted to having 20 grams of cocaine in individual plastic bags hidden in his pants. He was also found to have over $1,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
Blanco was charged with sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into jail.
