The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Animal Farm needs help. The farm, which makes public appearances throughout the county at various community events, needs to replace the trailer used to travel to those events.
“The trailer that Farmer Jeanne has been using to transport her animals is getting too old to continue to use for transporting the animals,” said Director Becky Herrin, who oversees the farm. “We are looking for anyone who might have a used horse trailer they would like to donate. We are, of course, looking for one in fairly good shape. We use it a lot driving up and down the Keys to events,” she said.
