Florida Department of Transportation sent out a notice that the Kemp Channel Bridge at the south end of Summerland Key will be closed completely for an hour on December 15th between 11 p.m. and midnight. For several hours prior to that and after that, there will only be one lane operational on the bridge. Mark your calendars if you are a person who travels over that bridge at night. There will be delays.
