A Tavernier business was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night. Detectives are investigating the case..
At 10:40 p.m. there were four employees working at the Tavernier Dairy Queen when the incident took place. The victims all said two armed men entered and forced them to lay on the floor. They then took one employee in to the office where they removed cash from the safe. The two suspects took all the employee’s cell phones with them when they left in an unknown direction.
Both men were young black males, aged 18 – 24. They were dressed all in black and had black shirts wrapped around their faces. Each of them had a handgun which they used to threaten the victims.
