FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION (FEMA)
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) offers assistance and information about dealing with a disaster on their website at www.fema.gov.
Visit their website to find information specific to Hurricane Irma at www.fema.gov/hurricane-irma.

To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, applicants should register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by mobile device at m.fema.gov.

If online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362.

MONROE COUNTY INFORMATION RESOURCES

Monroe County Emergency Management has a new website dedicated solely to the Hurricane Irma Recovery Effort. It is www.keysrecovery.org.

Information also is available on Facebook (Monroe County BOCC) and Twitter (@monroecounty) with #keysrecovery

Monroe County’s Information Hotline is back on line at 1-800-955-5504.

MORTGAGE BANKERS ASSOCIATION

The telephone number and mailing address of your mortgage servicer should be listed on your monthly mortgage statement. You also can look it up on the Mortgage Bankers Association website at www.mba.org/news-research-and-resources/hurricane-relief.

If you are having difficulty contacting your mortgage servicer, contact the Homeowner’s HOPE Hotline at 1-888-995-HOPE (4673) for assistance and free confidential support from a HUD-approved housing counselor.

Completed applications should be returned to a recovery center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS

Anyone who would like to volunteer or donate goods and supplies to the Keys Recovery effort should call or text Raquel at 561-502-1500 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
