Feeding troops at Whale Harbor

On Thursday, the owner of Whale Harbor opened his restaurant to first responders. Islamorada Sgt. Barney Sajdak spotted a group of 13 National Guard members sleeping on the floor at Coral Shores High School and eating MREs. He picked them all up and took them over the Whale Harbor where they had a warm and delicious meal. Thanks to all of those National Guard troops who are here suffering with us and helping us to recover!
