Motorists need to be aware of possible traffic congestion this weekend near Mile Marker 86 on U.S. 1 near Founders Park in Islamorada due to the 27th Annual Island Fest.
Traffic is expected to be heavy from 10 a.m. to about 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Give yourself extra time to traverse that area during those times.
