Sheriff’s Office detectives in Marathon used fingerprints to identify a 15-year-old boy wanted for nine vehicle burglaries in December.
Warrants for burglary and theft were issued and the boy was arrested by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
The burglaries occurred at night on 50th Street and 50thCourt.
All the vehicles were unlocked when they were entered. Three cell phones and two flashlights were the only things of significance taken from the vehicles aside from some miscellaneous change.
