Key West – A 64 year old man from West Palm Beach, Florida died while he was snorkeling offshore of Key West Saturday.
Eugene Porter was snorkeling on board a commercial vessel operated by Fury Water Adventures. Details of what happened are not yet available.
He was brought in to the Key West Bight and then transported by paramedics to Lower Keys Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of his death.
