The 58-year-old man found dead in the mangroves on Boot Key on Sept. 28 as part of an investigation into an attack on a nearby sailboat has been identified as Boot Key Harbor liveaboard Gustavo Torna Aguado.
Torna Aguado is the suspect in the machete attack the previous night in which Crystal Marie Young, 45, was seriously injured aboard her 27-foot sailboat anchored near Boot Key Bridge. Young was released from the hospital in Miami on Wednesday.

Young and Torna Aguado knew each other and may have been romantically linked at one time, however, they did not live on the same boat. They were not married.
