There is a prescribed burn underway on Big Pine Key at Grimal Grove off of Cunningham Lane on Big Pine Key. The burn is being done by wildlife/fire professionals and it is authorized until 4 p.m.
911 Communications Specialists are receiving multiple calls from concerned citizens. The fire is under control. There are no reported issues.
