Sheriff Rick Ramsay received this clock Wednesday and a note from Mr. Dick Schmelz of High Springs, Florida, who stated he was making a Cypress wood clock with the phrase, “No one here kneels alone” for every Sheriff’s Office in the state. Mr. Schmelz stated that thus far, he and his wife have delivered 43 clocks. Sheriff Ramsay wrote back to Mr. Schmelz thanking him: “The clock is amazing and we will proudly hang it on our Wall of Fallen Officers once we get back into our building as we are still in trailers post Hurricane Irma. Your gift to law enforcement around the state is much appreciated by all. Thank you for your kind gift and thoughts.”
