A 9:48 a.m. Wednesday fire was reported at a two-story, concrete, private residence at 194 Lorelane Place.

The owners were not there when Deputy Dyllon Hansen and Detective Gil Gonzalez first arrived on scene. Both grabbed garden hoses and kept water on some propane tanks outside the home until Monroe County Fire Rescue firefighters arrived.
Firefighters remain at the scene. Early reports were that the fire may have been contained to the outside of the structure, but crews are still on scene investigating where/how the fire started.
The fire was reportedly contained/extinguished shortly after 10 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
