Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsay announced Friday that five former Sheriff’s Office vehicles will be donated to community partners in the Florida Keys.
Two Ford Crown Victoria cars will be gifted to the Guidance Care Center, one Ford Crown Victoria will be donated to the Florida Keys Children Shelter and two more Crown Victoria cars will be going to the Florida Department of Corrections.
“When assessing what to do with these vehicles, I always think of our community partners first,” said Sheriff Rick Ramsay. “We in law enforcement can’t do what we do without their continued support. I continue to say it: Our community is safer when we all roll up our sleeves and work together. I know these vehicles are going to team members who need them.”
