A small charter helicopter crashed off Key West into the water about 100 to 150 yards off South Roosevelt Boulevard near Key West International Airport Monday about 8 p.m.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is the investigating agency.
There were no life-threatening injuries reported. Three people on board were reportedly transported to Lower Keys Medical Center with minor injuries.
Key West Police, the FWC, Coast Guard, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Deputies from the airport, Key West Firefighters and Monroe County Airport Rescue Firefighters all responded.
The helicopter is reportedly a sightseeing helicopter based out of Key West International Airport.
