No injuries were reported in a 9:40 a.m. Thursday fire that appeared to start in the kitchen of a unit at the Cayo Del Mar apartments on the 5500 block of 3rd Avenue on Stock Island.
Roughly 20 people from nine apartments were evacuated.
The fire is out at this time.
Monroe County Fire Rescue is primary agency on the scene.
