At approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, the Sheriff‘s Office investigated a report of a suspicious incident at Key Largo School.
In an abundance of caution, the buildings and grounds were evacuated. A thorough search of the school revealed nothing out of the ordinary.
Deputies cleared the scene at approximately 10 p.m., securing the school, with no further incident.
School is scheduled as normal for Friday.
