The Sheriff’s Office responded to a migrant landing near Mile Marker 87 at approximately 5 a.m. Thursday.
Initial reports suggested six or seven migrants landed, but then quickly dispersed.
One female migrant was found near Mile Marker 89 shortly thereafter. There were no reported health concerns regarding the female, nor was her age or nationality initially reported.
The Sheriff’s Office notified the U.S. Border Patrol and they responded. The U.S. Border Patrol is investigating agency for all migrant landings.
