Hialeah man’s fingerprints lead to arrest

A Hialeah man was arrested for a Key Largo burglary after his fingerprints were found at the scene.

31 year old Yosvany Sosa was booked into Monroe County jail Thursday, charged with the burglary of a home on Tarpon Basin Drive on March 12th. Deputies and detectives responded to investigate after neighbors said they saw two men jump into a car and speed away from the unoccupied house.

Investigations revealed a large flat screened television set and a laptop computer were stolen. Suspects broke a rear window to gain entrance to the home.

A number of items were fingerprinted by Detective and Crime Scene Investigator Barney Sajdak. The prints were sent away to Florida Department of Law Enforcement for an identification. They returned as belonging to Sosa.

A warrant was issued for his arrest for burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief.
