Sheriff Rick Ramsay and Farmer Jeanne Selander present a certificate of thanks to David Sloan, who paid a visit to the Sheriff’s Animal Farm Tuesday to accept it.
Sloan was one of the organizers of the Cow Key Channel 0 K Bridge Run, which benefited the Animal Farm. The farm is, in large part, supported by donations from people like Sloan, and from those individuals who visit the farm and choose to give money in support of the wonderful facility. The farm is open to the public second and fourth Sundays and is home to over 250 animals, most of which were abandoned, abused or otherwise in desperate need of a good home.
