A brush fire near the 124 mile marker of Highway U.S. One has closed that highway to traffic. All traffic is being diverted onto Card Sound Road, north and southbound. The toll on Card Sound Road has been lifted.
If you are traveling out of or in to Monroe County plan some extra time because traffic will most likely be slower than usual due to this issue.
