Deputy receives Sheriff's Medal

Deputy Jason Strong received a Sheriff’s Medal at yesterday’s Employee Awards ceremony. He responded to reports of a woman not breathing at Hawk’s Cay. He was able to remove food from the woman’s throat which she was choking on, thus saving her life. In the photo, Lieutenant Bruce Winegarden, Deputy Strong and Sheriff Peryam.
