A 27 year old Rockland Key man was arrested today, charged with performing lewd acts in front of a young boy.
The incident took place in October of 2012 and was reported to law enforcement in May of 2013 after the victim told his school counselor. The victim told Detective Rosa DiGiovanni he was in the same room with Christopher Sheeler late one evening when Sheeler was watching pornography on his cell phone. He said Sheeler hooked the phone up to the television so they could both see it. He then masturbated in front of the victim and encouraged victim to do so as well.
After investigating the allegations, Detective DiGiovanni obtained a warrant for Sheeler’s arrest. Today, he was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and he was booked into jail.
